there are a few differences between the 180bhp and 225bhp engines. couple being the pistons and turbo, so you need to be careful with tuning these. the cluth and fly wheel cannot handle much more than standard torque even if the standard injectors can
josie seriously! a seb2 setup would dick all over these standard! dont tell me your doing what rob is and running seb2 on 12psi... LOL
As if anything except the cylinder block on the 1.8 engine is going to be ok at 500hp.
They are nice medium sized car for what it is, more interesting than settling for a focus or Astra.
Nice car matey, prefer ibiza's myself, can't see it beating a sebbed gt standard though!
erm i can vouch for seb2's beating these. I was in todds when his was seb2. we had a lil showdown with one up lakeside and quite frankly, todd was pulling on it, only till the numpty missed a gear ;] even then he still held onto it, and on my own experiance, i pushed one up the a2 past bluewater, he even moved over for me lol
my seb 2 punto runing at 14 psi cant catch the cupra wether this has had a map by a previous owner i dont know as i bought the car and am the 3rd owner, but my cupra pulls away from my GT, but at the end of the day when car gets done with mapping and FMIC, S/S if it runs sweet that will do me just fine, i dont want a speed machine i got 2 young kids
Im suprised someone hasnt said about the coil packs
No one bothered because they're as regular as the sun and the moon
