Did you change the DV as it was sticking a little?

Also if you look under the dash where the bonnet pull is you will see a T-Piece plugged up so you can pipe in a Boost gauge if you want.

no i have not changed the dv yet as ive not had the time to get to play around with the it yet

Maybe the screw came out Perhaps that was the issue and the DV wasnt sticking at all. I took all the stuff off to sell, i never really had a chance to look as it was garaged for about 3 months lol.

had a look this morning. the vac pipe that comes from the engine has split where you put the t piece in and there isnt enough vac pipe to get the t piece in and ive not got enough pipe in the shed to replace it. but im hoping thats the problem with the dv.

Im almost certain that will be the problem, tbh it all makes sense now. You can get cheap silicone of ebay
