MOT and De-cat pipe

A cat isnt a requirement, it must pass the emissions though.

You can put something in the petrol that will lower the emissions but i cant see it lowering it enough with a de-cat on

Do you have a cat pipe for the car or are you just lazy to change it back?

Are you sure about that? I'm certain it's required by law on all cars made after 1994.

i agree with chris. my dad is a m.o.t tester and he will not pass a car without a cat that is made after august 1993.

yea my dads an ex mot tester and he gave the same answer. but 1 mot tester said that if it passed emissions then he would pass the car even though it didnt have a cat on

Chances are it won't though. Emission tests are quite strict so It's very unlikely it will pass without a cat.
