You can put something in the petrol that will lower the emissions but i cant see it lowering it enough with a de-cat on

A cat isnt a requirement, it must pass the emissions though.

i agree with chris. my dad is a m.o.t tester and he will not pass a car without a cat that is made after august 1993.
yea my dads an ex mot tester and he gave the same answer. but 1 mot tester said that if it passed emissions then he would pass the car even though it didnt have a cat onOriginally Posted by gaz0_0
Chances are it won't though. Emission tests are quite strict so It's very unlikely it will pass without a cat.
