xbox 360 problem blank screen.

Got a problem with the 360,

while playing it, the screen just went blue, no rings of death and it still plays the disc but nothing shows on the screen. seems like the graphics card in it has gone or something.

has anyone had this problem?

dont have any warranty left as its over a year old, just wondering if it is worth paying to get it fixed or just get a new one.

any suggestions?

Faulty AV cable?

Have you tried another disc?

just waiting to test it with a mates cable with it but i doubt it is that. but you never know..

havent actually tried another disc either, but cant get any picture at all so dont see how that would help.

my first 1 did this it will work but only intermitantly change the av cable and it may work again as mine did but 2 days after it died again
