If you wrote your car off, no insurance company will give you £8k for a Punto.
They will give you the amount of money it would cost to replace it.
And that why my gts insured for 8k mate FA wrong with it.. fully rebuilt just about apart from paint.. NOT MANY HAVE BEEN!!Originally Posted by GTste
You think id sell my gt by the book price or have it insured for that not that i would that's what the wrecks are valued at, and that's why many are sold and what they are worth.. Some things you cant put a price on..

No they wouldn't LOL
God if that's the case, I'm not breaking my car. I'm gonna get someone to steal it and set fire to it so I can get the insurance.
What a tool

while we on the subject of insurance...do you have insurance for when you goto shows? My dad insures the MR2 owners club for their club stands and that...not sure what it included but assume it would be something to look into...must be a reason to do it.
an agreed price policy, is just that mate.. I have it on paper and it would be legally binding that 8k would be my pay out.. Hey if you don't believe me that's fineOriginally Posted by Puntoboy
I have an agreed value policy as well, I know how it works. However, you have to prove that what is on your car at the time of it being written off is worth £8k. Somehow I doubt you will. Cos if you can find £8k worth of stuff on your car, I can find £18k on mine.

Minter - rare example.. yeah, dead rare. I sold one earlier this year, with 36k miles on the chassis. None of this replacement engine business that's done 20k with 80 on the chassis and body..
