aftermarket mirrors

howdo i go about changing mine on my mk2?? it seems almost impossible??? (no base plate area)

I don't know but most aftermarket mirrors look horrible.

I hear ya, I have a similar prob with my Mk2b, the mirrors are gash (its the damned rubber/plastic concertina which looks crap). Be damned if I can find something to replace them with and still have the fancy electro-gizmo moving mirror plate thingy.

ahhh yeh they factory fitted ones are nasty!!

although mine are manual
