    nokia 3510

    yeah yeah i know its old but i have a problam every time i go to send a text message there is a number stored there its not in my phone book and i hjave no idear whos it is so iv been through the manual and have been through all the options but i still cant get rid of it, reset factory settings done it all. so can anyone else shed any light on this?

    not the message centre number?? if it is, dont delete it!

    no its not my number and not the messange center as soon as i write a text and go to send and this number is already written in there its not in my phone book or anything

    i had the same problem once on a 8310
    1/Try removing the sim card and putting it in again
    2/Delete the message centre details in message settings, and retype them in and save again
    3/And then try changing the message centre to another then change back to this one. one of these worked for me mate

    You have added a 'default recipient' number and you must go into messages - message settings and somewhere in there you'll find the option to add this. Find it and remove that number then leave it blank. This is the only way to remove it and i'm 100% on this.
