stay tuned for another episode of "essexboys2003's spraying disasters"
lol
take your time, you can do it all in one day, but it will more than likely look dodgy and rushed
take your time, possibly 2 days, that's what i'm doing.
d1 morning = primer 3 coats, smoothing between coats
d1 afternoon = colour 3/4 coats, smoothing with 1200 wet between coats leave to dry over night by a radiator or somehting
d2 morning = laquer 3/4 coats, leave to dry all day by a radiator
fit it back on in the morning of day 3 then
3 coats of primer... upps i only used 1 coat because i thought the primer was only so the paint could stick onto the plastic... ahh well at least its trial and error with me and wen i do them next time they will be quality lol the best ever... just wen and checked on them all and they look really good and am quite please with them now.
Your cars going to look like a shed if you keep bodging.

patience is the key here fella
and the coats can be light and applied every 20-30mins
don't try to cover all of the piece in one hit as you will end up loading certain areas and then it will run.
also try laying down a clean sheet on the floor so that no dust is flicked up.
i have been spraying my wheels on the sierra this week and i have been doing a wheel a night and spending approx 3-4hrs in total per wheel
but the finished result is good.
make sure u post photos of ya wheels i wanna see them. what colour ya spraying them.
Sounds like you havent keyed the surface you are spraying? Did you give the plastic you sprayed a gentle rub down with sand paper before priming? If not theres your problem! the paint needs something to grip 2!
