has any one got photos with the cars standard lights on but just darkened with that paint stuff
I've got mine colour coded with the car. Bought them from Opey on here.

But after months of driving about like that I got paranoid about being stopped by the police, and added two small reflectors to either side of the tailgate to ensure that I stay legal.
So the back end of my car is now legal.
I will of course be putting the original clusters back on for its MOT, just in case...

The lights shine through fine when its dark.
In the daytime, particularly in strong sunshine I believe that it can be difficult to see the lights when close up. I installed a high level brake light for this reason, so that no-one goes into the back of me.
But I have had police sitting behind me during the day on two occasions one of which were traffics, and I wasn't stopped.
I don't have pics of the rear end with the reflectors, primarily because they look ****!
