Leon for me all the way, to many CTR's. New Xr3i
ffs is **** as far as performance goes as standard, 215bhp. a standard ctr will keep up with one!
bit of boost etc and you'll be knocking on close to 300bhp, then the fun begins!
heres basic stats of the focus rs, based on its weight..
Power at Flywheel (BHP) 220
Weight without Driver (KG) 1240
Drive Type Front Wheel Drive (FWD)

0-60mph (Secs) 6.14
0-100mph (Secs) 15.25
60-100mph (Secs) 9.11
Quarter Mile (Secs) 14.52 @ 97.57 MPH

my car:

figures are interesting, but are left at that.
the looks, and drive matter.
Ok I'm a Honda owner so obviously my opinion will differ. I personally prefer the Type R Civic to the Leon Cupra R. Its just a big bus and IMO they're both not much to look at. But lets see Cupra needs a turbo to get it above 200bhp and then we have the Civic Type R ----- VTEC!
It may also be worth considering a very VERY important point;
With the VTEC engines, you have to rev them hard to get the performance, they love it of course, but it does not suit everyone as many reviews state.
With the LCR, the power is there, and delivered smoothly throughout the rev range, perhaps too 'controlled' for some people, but again its down to personal preference and how you like to drive/how early you like to change gears.
With tuning I would imagine as the LCR is already turbo'd and has an engine that can take easily 400bhp with the right mods, that would be the one to go for if big tuning is desired.
The choice is yours ultimately.
