I've done it before.. not a fun job. fittings not too bad but reaming to the correct size is difficult. The machine shop damaged mine while cleaning the block.

Nothing in the Haynes manual on how to change these (they sit in the front of the block) but their Uno manual looks a bit more helpful under the 1372cc supplementary section.
It mentions that if the bushes look oval or appear pitted etc then you should entrust the fitting of new ones to your dealer as they might need to be reamed to suit.
Is this correct and to anyone who has changed them, also what symptoms were you getting that made you swap yours and how easy was it to get the old ones out? Looks a pig........is it sump off and oil pump out before you can remove the shaft?

And why was you changing em pete?
Part of an overhaul or were they vibrating above say 2000rpm....and quite noisy above 60mph?
