My gt
Hi guys
This is not a for sale thread but what like your opinions on roughly how much I would get for my gt.
The bad bits first.
Dent in driver rear quarter where some one reversed into me. And piston rings need doing as is blowing abit smoke but depending on what is said I will get it done. There is abit of laquare peel on the front bumper.
Good bits
I fitted a plastic fuel tank
Lowered 60mm on springs all round
2.25 power flow exhaust with decat and also have the cat
Dr evil down pipe and elbow
Brembo conversion
Coupe wheels
Interior is emaculate and have a cobra bucket seat with harness
Anti roll bars wishbones etc all new to much to list really
Gt3 strut brace
Rising rate fpr
270 injectors
Piper 270 cam
T25 turbo rebuilt 500miles ago and has 8months of warranty left
Braided break lines
Angle head lights
Seb4 genuine
Fmic
Direct air intake system
Amex launch control and limiter
Fully rebuilt head with piper springs and gas flowed angled cut skimmed etc
255 walbro fuel pump
There is probably more. I have recipets for every penny I have spent on this including oil filters and oil so you can see how anal I am about servicing it.
It's done 90000 genuine miles
So what's your thoughts please I may be breaking her as well however nothing is set in stone yet
I also have all parts to make her original again. .

Really?... I guess with it needing the rings done.
I'd say about £1200, maybe a bit more if it didn't need internal work.
Obviously depending on the condition of the car.

yeah its true mate you'll get more breaking but only 90,000 miles and new rings? sounds early for rings. you sure its not valve stem oil seals or the turbo?
how about another engine or bottom end? shouldnt cost much if you do the swap yourself....... i sold a rebuilt bottom end for just £55 last year so you can get it back to normal for very little money. the rear quarter is an arse but maybe get a pic up of that damage......

The rebuild is not a problem. The car sat for about 3 years with it never been started so I put the rings down to that. Every valve stems were re done about 3 months ago. Unfortunately I'm an all or nothing person and need to go fordged for what I want to achieve and I've lost my job so I'm stuck between a rock and hard place

No ones gonna pay anything for a car needing rings done unless there buying it to use parts for there other gt. Personally I wouldn't mind it as a little project but I wouldn't be looking to pay much.
