The pin pulls down then the window hooks out.
I unbolted the whole regulator then took the pin out and taped the window to the top of the door.
Does the glass have to be removed to do this or can you get the old motor out through the inner door panel?
also ive heard about this plastic pin that goes through a hole in the bottom of the glass - do you have to break this or does it just pull out to be re-used?
Mine passenger side has been dead slow going up and down for over 3 years and as Ive had a spare motor at home doing nothing its time I changed it over. I will clean everything first and lube the runners up with silicone grease beforehand to see if that improves things......

any rivets to drill out or do i just need my spanners?
No only 10mm nuts hold the regulator on.
Grease everything up first, as that's what helped mine, when it used to get stuck all the time.
Its like brand new now
