Hi all,
I want to build a complete new brake system, as I want it all to be new and 100% perfect. But, how do I figure out what to buy, in order to move the correct amount of brake fluid and get the correct pressure?
I want new pedals, new mastercylinder, and what ever else I need in order for it to be perfect.
I have these brakes in the front, and standard discs/calipers in the back (Will upgrade discs/pads in the back as well):
And its floormunted pedals like these I am looking at:

This company that is located in UK has everything you may need...you can ask them as well since they have experience

You get your pedals, cylinders and a proportioning valve to adjust the % of pressure to the rear brakes
Not bad input Yelfig, but I feel their pedalboxes look a bit "cheap", but I love the prices.
I dont want to seek information from a company, wasting their time. That is not my style.
That pedal box looks nice, another way to do it is to try and source a bigger master cylinder off a different car that fits to reduce your brake pedal travel?
You must have some serious stopping power with those 6 pots on an uno, maybe even locking the front wheels quite alot?
I definitely like the look of those pedals. Mine are currently off the car so I could get access for welding and I'm not looking forward to putting them back on.

Actually, I have more braking power than standard, but I want it to be more responsive/direct, and I probably could just find something from another car. But I want "the best" for my money, and because my project is a slow one, I dont need to settle for less.
I might look at some Wilwood stuff as well.
Oh, I dont have problems with locking up the frontwheels at all, but I also had that thought before trying it out on the road.
That Tarox kit looks the business mate, need 16" rims though to fit yeah?
Anything that will improve on the Uno's crap braking system has to be worth while.
Do you have any pics of your Uno?
I am running 16" rims, but with the new shell I am preparing to use my 17" for daily driving and only the 16" for trackdays/Nürburgring
Car is being stripped apart, and I am building everything into a new shell, and yes it is new, and have never been on the road, and is therefore 99,99% without any rust. Only rust is from some idiot sanding on the surface in order to smooth it......
Old pictures here (Car still looks the same, if I put it back together )
