Where will you use it/keep it?
I like it, welding looks ok too, have seen loads worse from the space cadets on here
Haha in places its spot on, in others not so much. I'll take a few closer pics tomorrow.
I'd like to use tube for the rest but that's an added expense as I don't already have some but I do have enough square tube left.

I think some of the problem with welding from me is the machine believe it or not. Sometimes it just coughs and the welds start spitting. I think that's because of the wire feed but not sure. But the welding is good enough.
For the time being it will live in the corner of my living room because that's where the Xbox lives. However I've got a 3 bedroom house so it'll move to the spare room once I get another screen for it.

Projector....!
We've got a room doing nothing so think I may borrow a projector from work and give it a go, don't really game enough though at the moment.
Neither do I tbh. But yes a projector would be nice.
I've just bought a Fanatec GT2 wheel and CSR pedals from a friend of a friend which is a damn site better than the rubbish Madcatz wheel I have now.

Today's progress.
Drilled the holes for the rear seat
Welded nuts over the holes
Secured the seat into place
Welded the cross member for the pedals into place
The end caps for the corners. Need to grind down the welds a little bit first
I've started cutting the bars to mount the wheel into place as well. This is where is gets tricky as I need to get the height and angles right before I weld it into place. More progress tomorrow hopefully.

What ever happened to sitting on the sofa with a wired controller?
Not bad at all Chris, the wire speed my be a little too fast what with how tall a few of the welds are especially considering you're welding into a sort of V for most of them you should be able to get the weld quite flat. I'm no expert mind and not welded for ages and it'll be more than good enough for purpose. Just saying for constructive criticism purposes
What colour are you going to paint it?
No that's cool. Thanks Kyle. Wire speed is a bit tricky with my machine. The motor is proper wanky, sometimes it's quick, sometimes not so much.
My first thought was black for the colour but yellow popped into my head earlier. Don't know why
