Watch out for further updated new spec (all ill say was right place right time got a steal on some bits) pics will follow
You fixed your speedo yet ?
No not yet I like it that way makes me feel awesome
ordered all my bits to today for the build so here goes.
Firstly i got offered a very good price for my full IX engine and turbo so i will be selling when this build is complete.
basicly someone was desperate for cash so sold me a 4g64 block that already had oil squirters fitted oil ways ported and polished all crank case ported and polished and de-burred and a Brand new K1 88mm crank thats all ready super finished. i got all this for less than £800.
so heres the full spec. (after speaking to Norris and MAP performance)

TURBO
Precision 5558 turbo

tial v-band wastegate ported
Race-Tech v band manifold
i also have my AEM water meth kit which im going to use but nut not have the engine mapped on it and set to come in at 1.2 bar it will have a master switch to turn it off and on (Safety first lads) its just a precaution for the hot weather
i have all the bits except them in the red as i have been slowly modifying over the last year.
i have decided to only go 156mm rods is weight related and that fact i didnt want the pin high up near the ring lands, this setup will give me a square motor with a really good rod ratio and if i wanted to could rev to 10,000rpm with the right turbo (8200rpm limit ) it will give me capacity of 2093cc that little extra will make it a fantastic road car i didnt want to go stroker as the torque will put extra strain on the transmission. the turbo i have chosen will make a max of 550bhp which will see me a very quick spooling road car making 500bhp at 1.7 bar. ill post some pics up of the build and when the engines built ill do a swap over.

Some major £££ being spent here.
Interesting spec Andy, not what I personally would do if I had the cash-moniez but be interesting to see what results you get!
Just don't break you're current engine beforehand!
No mate keeping the IX engine complete then selling as a complete unit Dan
@Dan it's all in the square engine. (Info from Norris) flame prefers bore to stroke that's why I kept 88 mm stroke also went for 156 rod instead of 162 because if rod weight and the pin sat too high near the rings and super long rods suffer from phantom knock on pump fuel
Method in my madness
You change your mind way too much Andy lol.
