    Uprated fuel pump for 2litre punto

    Hi i am after an uprated pump for my 2litre punto, or better known on this forum as Gregs 2litre!

    The one that was in it has packed up and was out of the klaxon so i was told but cannot find a replacement as of yet so need a bit of help and knowledge if anyone knows what it is.

    Its supposively off of a porshe..

    I have just a standard coupe one in at pressent but isnt suitable for the job. I know there are a few guys running the conversion on here such as aki. (lovely car) or would be nice to know what pump he is running exactly? or what LPH would be right for it?

    Just get a walbro for a coupe jess, will be fine

    If your running a 255lph pump, it won't be that leaning out. How do you know it's leaning out pal?

    I'm pretty sure Paul is using a 255lph in his

    Its the very same pump that was in james lawsons seb 4 gt mate what pump was that? Can you remember?

    I'd imagine a walbro but he may have used a coupe pump as worked at fiat.

    Anyone know the flow rate at certain pressures for the walbro? Need to be sure it can supply them injectors what they need!

    I'm not sure what you're asking exactly here. With higher pressure (FPR setting) the actual flow rate per injector goes down. A 255 litre per hour pump rate should be able to supply fuel for almost any rate/size of injector for pretty darned large power outputs.

    255 litres/hour = 4.25 litres/min. / 4 (or 5 etc.) injectors ~= 1060cc/min (or 850cc/min. etc.). Get the idea? It's not quite a simple as that, but a basic approximation.

    Rough injector rate from desired target power calculation for 4 cyl. turbo = desired power x 0.8 resulting in cc/min., for an 80% max. duty cycle at 3 Bar fuel rail pressure.
