Go and see Vern's cage guy, will cost about £600 I reckon once I add a few extra bars.
Buy a brand new OMP cage for £440 something.
Wait to hear back from a few companies I've emailed and see what prices they come back with.

With the time and effort to prep that and it still has to be welded in, i'd rather have a custom cage made for the little extra money.
That's was mine. If its surface rust it will just rub off. I did cut 2 bars ready to go in the rear as x bars. Is bolt in and made my car mega sturdy when it was in. I paid 465 brand new and has only been fitted to my car. Bargain really. If I was after another I'd buy it back.
It's not much of a bargain really if you have to pay for the rust to be removed then painted/powder coated. Personal preference but I don't like cages you just bolt it so I'd want it welding too.

Why pay someone to prep and paint just diy! Be an hour or two at the most lol
Well yes of course, but there's still materials to buy and time/effort when you could just get one off the shelf.
I think I'm going to leave it, I'd have to make some modifications to it to get the cage I want.

I rubbed it down ready for it to be painted and took me half hour at most. Whatever you get tho you're still have to paint/weld it in.
