    Nah, its a turbo diesel conversion, we all know that because diesels have more torque they're actually faster

    Why??? Diesel blocks are stronger! Have you or anyone else on here tried it for that matter

    Nope, but I'd bet a 1.4 piston will rattle around a bit in a 1.7 block.

    Depends how the extra 300cc is gained I.e taller block with same bore?? The starlets and the paseo use this technique for 1.5 conversions
