New on here
Hi all,
I have been a member of the forum for a while, never posted untill now, just enjoyed looking at the project threads.
I am based in bristol and hav a 2002 Broom Yellow Sporting, which is currently undergoing 16vt conversion. Started it last May, havent made much progress with it yet due to money and trying to avoid the cold through the winter months. Hopefully will get it in and running this year, then next year will start to turn it into a track car, rather than a very quick cobbled together punto with no interior.
Plan is to use coupe engine, subframe, shafts etc. I'll start a project thread when im at home and have some spare time.
Any thought let me know!
John

Welcome to Psc.
The 20vt is a more common conversion for the mk2 at the moment.
I look forward to reading a project.

I know 20vt is more common on the mk2, however I'm hoping to use it for track days rather than drag and I believe the 16vt is lighter? Correct me if I'm wrong however it's too late now!
Also the 4pot should be powerful enough for my needs anyway after a few basic mods
