More details about the free iPad2 Danny BOY?
I ask because they often have them on the Gadget show, weird and wonderful brands no ones ever heard of.
We've had an email into work today offering us some direct from the 'manufactory' (no joke) WHo make a number of small brands, using mostly the same tech, ARM processors and running Android4. Im interested in the 9.7inch one, its $165 if we buy less than 3 which is sample pricing. I only want it to browse the internet on sofa or in bed etc and maybe put movies on if i have to get the train to places etc.
There are alot of ~7inch ones for less than $80-90!!!!

I spent 2 hours in PCWorld before Xmas Dan and tbh the only 1 that i came close to purchasing before i bought the Ipad2 was the Asus Transformer, excellent build quality and top specs on Android. I decided against it though as the Asus Prime was due out soon, which is far more advanced than the Ipad and previous Asus.
If you're on a budget i'd probably suggest the blackberry playbook which is available from £169 (originally over £400) but other cheaper options don't cut it for me.

Its not a case of budget Rich, I could go out and buy an iPad2 if I wanted, the Doris has an Ipad2 but i don't have any interest in ever using it, I use my 4S alot to do random browsing.
Im not specifically after a cheap one, just we've been offered quite a heafty range if we wanted to distribute them, but there is some keen pricing for sample volumes. £100 for a convienient internet browse is what im after I suppose, when out and about I can stream my 3G from the iPhone to it too.
Blackberry, no thanks!

If your an existing vodafone contract customer you can get an ipad with no upfront fee from them.
Theres a vodaphone forum thread about it i sont have a link right now im out.
You can get 16gb for free
32gb is £50
64gb is £100 upfront
The contract you get with that is 2gb 3g
And the ipad is the 3g and wifi version
You can get it from the shop if you ask providing you have a voda contract but they wont be forthcuming in telling you you have to ask.
