Question; how does this compete with the C5 trim restorer?
Good info / mini-review btw.
I thought I'd do a small writeup on GTechniq's latest product, T1 Tyre and Trim Gel Dressing.
I was fortunate enough to have a pre-production sample given to me to try out. I wouldn't have the money to buy this product, despite it not being particularly expensive!

£12.98 for 250ml which is a decent size. Considering the spread you get from the product a little goes a VERY long way - as with all of the GTechniq range.
Now before application my trim was very grey, dry and faded. To be fair if I sat outside for 16 years I think I'd be pretty grey and faded.
The beading and sheeting on trim of this product is unbelievable -
I can honestly say the water shoots off better than it does on freshly sealed/waxed paint.
This is one layer, unbuffed. If I buffed it, it would be more of a satin finish. I could add another layer for gloss but I think one layer is perfect.
The only real picture I have of it on the tyres is this -
Anyway, I would seriously recommend it!

I think you mean C4 Debo, which is a totally different product to T1 in my opinion! Unfortunately I've never used it, so I've no idea. From what I've seen C4 is more 'permanent', that's all I can say really.
I'd recommend T1 though! It's incredibly easy to use - and the price isn't bad either in my opinion.
Ah yeah! the C5 is the wheel armour! d'oh!
I'm nipping down to Shinearama this afternoon so might enquire about the T1 whilst there.
Cheers!

You're lucky to live a near a 'walk-in' shop. Infact, maybe unlucky, you might spend too much! Haha.
Haha, it's different for me mate as I am running a business, so I tend not to have the "try everything" mentality. I carry surprisingly low volume of products compared to some detailers. I don't see the point in tying loads of cash up in excessive amounts of product, and doubling them up; I have 3 tyre dressings (matte, satin, gloss), only 5 waxes, 2 sealants, 1 specialist super-sealant etc.
It's the same with my polishes, I only buy new ones when I've gone through what I am using. Currently making the switch to Scholl, but I still have some 3M ones left! My sister bought me some S3 Gold last year as a gift, since then, haven't used my Fast Cut +! So it's a bit of a waste from a financial standpoint, if you see what I mean.

I do understand mate - I guess I see it from a hobbyist view, although I do have 'stock' of stuff I use and replace when I run out. G101 for example. Or zaino z2. Although being a student this is hard. It helps my dad is into detailing aswell!
What's this specialist sealant - is it C1?
No, not C1, it's a ceramic coating, although I might switch to C1. Some people really kiss a$$ when it comes to the G|Techniq stuff, whereas I've been left quite underwhelmed by what I have tried, with the exception of G4 and G3 (glass polish and sealant).
I have stuff like APC and wheel cleaner in stock, as these are generic and used on everything. What I don't have is several variations of wheel cleaner though - I have Bilberry, and when that runs out, if something new is around or I want to try something different I will get that instead... you read of some people having 5 or 6 wheel cleaners, when there's really no need (and that goes for professional or hobbyists alike!)

I do know what you mean about the ass kissing - some people in particular - what I've tried has been impressive. T1, C1, G1, G4 (didn't like it..), and C4 from memory.
I didn't like G4, it was a nightmare to remove when it dried. I much prefer AG Glass Polish!
