Car won't start :(
I turned my car engin off for a bout 5minuets and when I came to start it up again there was nothing wasent even trying
Every time I turned the key the dash lights went dim
Manage to bump start it and now it seams fine stats fine :/
Any one have ahead up as to what could have been the problem ??
Well it's either the battery or alternator.
If its the alternator is it a of or expensive job ??
Changing alternator is easy. Its only 5 bolts
I'd say it was easy enough.

Get your battery tested as it may just be its not keeping charge any more.
As above, could be a dead cell in the battery, get a multimeter on the battery and test the drop when cranking, and also the charge rate. This will give you a better indication of the problem.
Personally if died after just switching it off, but runs fine once jump started..... I'd say battery was at fault or bad earth rather than alternator failure.
