And an appliactor pad will see you straight!
Smells the danglies as well and brings up external plastics quite nicely as well if used very sparingly.
What tyre dress did you use on mine?
What are the alternatives??

I used autoglym instant tyre dressing its pretty good stuff spray on, you can either leave it on and it will soak into the tyre or wipe off after a minute or so.
there is a foam one that you spray on from autosmart TYRE DANDY some great stuff
or highstyle
TYRE DANDY
A tyre foam which is the fastest way to clean and restore colour to tyres. Leaves a durable, waterproof high sheen finish. 20-30 tyres from one aerosol.
HIGHSTYLE
Our most versatile dressing. Leaves a weather resistant finish for all tyres, vinyl and plastics, inside and out. Unbeatable gloss and lustre.

There's tonnes of tyre dressings Dan. I originally used Poorboys Bold n Bright. Its a water based gel solution, applied with a foam applicator. Not the longest lasting, but none of the water based ones last longer than a few weeks - you can get solvent based ones, I.e aerosol, and even some you brush on, but over time these damage the rubber and they are also prone to 'fling' - when you drive the car the greasy residue flies off up the side of the paint and makes a reet mess!!! Hence why I won't use them!
Choose wisely Daniel'san..
If you have any car care related questions, ask me in the Cleaning/Detailing section.
Here's a slightly off topic question, I use turtle waxs tyre shine I'll get the exact name when I go into the garage tomorrow.
Each time I use it, it leaves a really good wet look finish and lasts a long time, however it leaves a mark on the driveway.
I have to roll my car on four pieces of cardboard, spray it on, leave it to dry then roll the car back.
Are the suggestions listed above Tarmac friendly?
Any water based one will just wash off in that case...^
Meguiars Endurance is good, buff it afterwards if you're more into a satin finish.
Could try the ValetPro one? I got it discounted at Shinearama simply because they had changed their labels...
