would a fine grade clay bar not be worth including in a kit then??

They're proper 'dudes' at Shinearama.
You dont want any sponges or chamois!!! Mitts and microfibre!!
I agree about their website, it is not the best. That accolade goes to www.polishedbliss.co.uk by a country mile. But they are decent fellas and I'll get a deal out of them for you. I've taken everyones suggestions on board at the moment, I'll give it a few more days for some others to chip in and then I can speak to them. I'm doing a job there tomorrow, so will mention this...
List of products so far;
* Shampoo - 500ml Insta Finish Purple Wash & Wax £5
* Lambswool Washmitt - Sonus Oval £9
* Wheel Cleaner - 1ltr Bilberry Wheel Safe £10

If you have any car care related questions, ask me in the Cleaning/Detailing section.
All I would want is something to wash a car with
Something to dry it with
And some alloy and tyre stuff lol
That's about it but I don't get paid till the 17th
That's why I'm asking for ideas on what y'all want really, because I could list a kit which is more than you need, less than you want, more than you wanted to pay etc..
£75 isn't exactly pocket change for some, but it is what I would consider a decent starter kit for enthusiastic cleaners - might be a bit keen for a few people?! I could strip it back to the bare bones and drop luxuries like the wheel cleaner, work towels could go I guess, detailing spray... But then it just becomes shampoo and a wash mitt
There's no buckets here either chaps, I won't subject you to paying £10 a bucket when you can get them in B&Q for £2.50 each! Detailers tax, lol.
I'll also ask the guys @ the shop their thoughts on what they think would be a good kit. Maybe we'll come up with a couple of different kits/packs between us for you.

why not try a novice kit for general use
and intermediate kit for those with high detail cars
