a tuner who is some one who can research and bolt the best parts on a build in order to achieve his goals, for example your Evo you take it to norris designs and say i want 500bhp simon turns around and goes £7000 please,

or you sit at home ringing round part manufactures working out and decideing what parts you need what comp you are going to use, what bore what turbo, what oil thats a tuner and unless you have done that your self you are a cheque book tuner knowledge is power,

truth be told now i have a custom cam in my head not a piper 270, it was designed for the flow of my head, but who ever the buyer is , will have all disclosed information, and i have some plans in a folder of were to buy all parts at resonable prices to make the following
    1.4-stroked to a 1.6 8v
    1.6-1.9 8v
    1.6 16v
    1.9 16v
also who else can get ally pulleys?
    light weight valve buckets?
    ti retainers?
    bercan inlet manifold?

turbo andre, evil. punto pd, todd.craigharris, debo, can back me with this.
another thing from now on no one pm asking questions becuase ill ignore you from now on. its the minority spoiling it for thr majority. a shame this forum is like play school childish behaviour, and most people in my eyes need to get out and see the world and stop been sat behind a keyboard been a keyboard hardmam, most people just google thinks then but the answer on here and make out they knew it.

as for the forum i think certain people need to have look at there selfs tbh, how do you know who someone is behind a key board? and grow the **** up
Put your dummy back in lol...

Maybe you need to look at yourself Andy?

Simon Norris is a great example... He is a 'tuner' he has tuned hundreds of Evos and other cars and has the reputation to back it up. He's commissioned his own parts aswell as custom building no end of parts, setups and entire cars. He is a tuner.

Anything you've bought will be available to anyone else. Your what is known as the consumer.

Because I chose the furniture in the livi room doesn't mean I'm a furniture designer or interior guru does it...

Research isn't fact. Those figures are fantasy until you prove them or someone with your exact setup does...

Plenty of people on this forum post actual sh*t too often, broken record after broken record, it's actually amazing the lengths some people go to trying to delude others or to lick arse.

Convenient how the Internet hardman rammel comes out at a time like this when that's exactly what the announcer is being while on their soapbox

P.s. You are all welcome to stop pm'ing me about Evo's, ownership and insurance, especially the two faced bum bandits participating in this exchange of thoughts

As for this stroker kit instead of everyone saying it wont work its s**t etc.
why dont people embrace the idea try and help with the research offer a hand?
try and find out what the motives are and what the outcome he wants?

and as for hardman you got the wrong end of the stick, you dnt no who people are i ment mike could have a degree in motorsport engneering, so never judge a book.
If you thought i was talking about hardman as in thug, fighting etc, you do need to give your head a wobble.
these two faced bandits you speak of? was i been two faced when i got your Evo manifold coated was i? with me what you see is what you get and if i have anything to say i will pm the relevent person.

And for the get out and see the world is was ment in get of your arse and see what going on in the tuning world. i didnt mean afghanistan or iraq.

any one got any probs call me on 07887401585 anytime

The problem these days is there is will power vs. time. I have the brain to build a Punto, but I also have a jib/life/house/garden/2 other cars as it is; and I actually feel my days of wanting to smell of oil are over. Plus as a business there is no money in tuning.

I'm struggling to think of a cheque book car from here other than Hans' from 10 years ago?! Most of the "modern greats" are self-built
Mitsubishi's MIVEC system in the 1.6 16v NA JDM Mitsu Colt Cyborg ZR working the same as the VTEC, just has a bit higher CR, and the engine has 175bhp and 161Nm with it.

    NeoVVL system
NeoVVL working same, just switching the cams on different rpms
    N15 Nissan Pulsar VZ-R (called mostly Nissan Almera in continental EU), SR16VE engine, 1.6 16v NA, 175BHP and 168Nm, bore 86mm, stroke 68mm, (B16A2 81mm bore, 77.4mm stroke, 160BHP and 150Nm)
The larger bore = bigger valves, shorter stroke = less stress at higher rpms on the conrods, it is a destroked SR20VE (86x86)

    N15 Nissan Pulsar VZ-R N1, SR16VE N1 engine, same as SR16VE just more higher CR and different cams, 1.6 16v NA, 200BHP and 181Nm

This last was years long the highest BHP/litre rate NA engine in streets car ever made, higher than this were only the Super1600, Junior WRC engines.

These are not so popular in Europe, only in far east and in grey imports in Australia, are made for the japaniese tax rules, you found only it, when the used car is imported from Japan whit this engines.

What's wrong with you lot lol. I've met most of you lot arguing and I know you'd get on well together in real life but it's amazing how much a forum and slightly controversial post changes things! Hans made sense for once when he said the Europeans just get on and build and very few even bother with internet forums.

to a point Todd, gotta get the cheque book out to buy parts. But as Dan said i custom built many bits, complete exhaust, one of the first if not the first to chop intake and fit 20v coupe body to run with stdmangement, 325bhp on a std 1.4 std head, self ported and so much more, think you need to see joes gt to appricate the time and effort and not just cash thrown at it to get nothing at the end cos it doesnt get finished.

I'm not knocking you as a tuner mate. My point is, anyone can Have the quickest GT if the tuner is given a 'blank cheque'. No offense to yourself intended
