any advice about what I should look for with the engine, and if there is anything that makes good practice with these to replace as the engine and box is out of car?
I require new turbo too if anyone has any recomondations

haha.
I was just reading a couple of threads on here, and was thinking this myself. put it to standard or maybe upgrade it a little.
Basically, the kiddy who had it before ran some extra boost through it I guess, rings and turbo blown. so he took engine out. and thats as far as he got.
I have new rings ordered, I see a few turbos from 200sx's available, and read they are a direct fit upgrade. so maybe I will go stage 2? as I need a turbo anyway. and its done a few miles, so I will change the fuel pump for good messure along with sorting the boost pressure out with controller as I have no idea what he has done with it so would like to set that.
so after writing that, it looks as though I am almost there with a stage 2 haha, may as well do it. unless I can source standard turbo pretty cheap.... but then I have the poss boosting issue, ummm
If your gonna go stage 2, i can't urge you enough to not bother with a t25 (200sx, well 180sx if you want to get technical ) Save and buy a GT25R, you will not regret it
well you should just got for an ihi vl7 then bud (standard tubby). GT25R are about £700-800 new. There is a second hand one in the for sale section.
Personally i'd get it back together in standard form, and make sure everything works, and then go from there if you wish to improve
I cant read the for sale section for some reason, guess I havent been on the site long enough or something?
Can see the cars for sale and wanted, but not the parts
welcome fella get some pics up and make your way to bluewater on the 3rd of sept
