I am currently in discusion for a trade with a friend. I currently have a 1.6 escort mk6 and am looking to trade with a mk2 punto sporting. There are a couple of problems with it that i need to influence the desision and want to ask you.
Firstly, the exhaust is blowing. I think it is on the flexi pipe. Is the flexi pipe attached to the catalyst or does it unbolt from it, if it does will a normal punto flexi pipe fit in place?
Secondly, i have some alloy wheels that will fit a corsa, rover and i think honda. will they fit the punto?

Hi Karl, and welcome to the forum.
The flexi section is part of the downpipe, separate from the catalyser.

There are Alfa Romeo and Lancia wheels that can be used.
Also a PCD of 4x100 (e.g. VW) may be fitted, with "wobbly" bolts:
