AFAIK It's not JUST a 20VT colour, it's called Sprint Blue and my old Mk2 Punto was the same colour.
I think that's the best mk2 colour, never seen it on a mk1 though. Why don't you mix some metalflake in with the yellow or something?
ya have a few mixes i have in mind without going off the original colour. For the time being i am going to paint my wheels instead of powdercoat them because i want to see what ones look better the OZ's or the 20vt alloys. There does seem to be loads of 20vt whhels out there at the moment.
Just a few updates to show how it is coming along, Busy in work so not much time to work on it plus pre-session has started so football most nights.
Engine in finally, just need to sort out the vac pipes and a few other stuff.
Driveshafts shortened, passenger side is 13.5" and the drivers is 15".
Will be going black.
Installed a push start button, nice feature. will do a how to as soon as im sure it works correctly.
just something that we are working on. It sounds incredible.
Very nice! Wonder how many more 20vt's will pop up now.
Do explain more about the last pic
db9, full respray and then i think he wants to turbocharge it but cannot see him going ahead with that. I do not like the colour and it is a pain in the ball sack to work on.
Great to see a project thread, and would love to see how you manage to get the push start to work
Keep up the good work and the pics
