No. There isn't a password but only the person who requested the block can lift it, via the network they imposed the block through. There will be a series of security questions to follow, as well as logical traces such as that phone previously been attached to the account etc...

yeah i think vodafone will ahve your name tagged to the phone. so they will probably unblock it but maybe with a surcharge due to the insurance claim.

if you claimed insurance they technically own it so they will take it off you- sell it on ebay, someone from abroad will buy it or someone who will just change the imei number.
