So have you purchased Mottys old GT then?
I know its a long shot posting on here. Let me know if my price is over optimistic.
I'll take some decent pictures tomorrow.
1999 Fiat Punto 1.2 Team 60S
The old plate was a V reg(currently has a private number plate which WON’T be part of the sale).
The colour is Arrogance Blue, which is original factory paint – it’s not a re-spray.
Cheap to insure (insurance group 3)
Genuine 44,786miles. Mileage taken on 23/03/10. I travel 18miles a day to work and back, so mileage wont be the same as advertised.
Tax and MOT till January 2011
The car has been fully serviced in January before the MOT
The car has had 4 owners from new:
1. First owner – retired mechanic
2. Dads customer (bought at 25,245 on 17-02-07)
3. My Dad (bought at 32,056 on13-10-07)
4. Myself (bought at 39,455 21-07-09)
The car has been HPI checked and I have a printout, this was done by the second owner.

Bad Points
No power steering, electric windows or electric mirrors.
Gearstick gaiter does not tuck under the gear knob.
The speaker pods in the doors need to be tidied up.
Car has no service history, however, all owners have done their own maintenance on the car. I have a folder of previous MOTs, tax discs, receipts and instructions.
Small crease in the drivers side door approx 2cm in length
I have loads more pictures I can email to you if you want, of anything you require to see.
I am looking for £1300 O.N.O.
Thanks for looking.
So have you purchased Mottys old GT then?
Going up in the weekend hopefully should be mine, but i need an honest opinion is what im asking for too much, it'll be up on auto trader, i wanted to post on here first to see if this was over priced. Most people are after a GT
I'd say abit too much.
Sadly the s models don't hold any real value.
I'd ask maybe £900 tops and take £750-800.
But obvieously it's up to u.
I agree with sicskate
There are alot of gt's going about for a little more than what you're asking but probably not as clean though, id aim for £900
I was aiming for £1000, thanks for the advice guys, i could sell for spares, the kit could get a fair bit and the alloys
Would be a shame to see a good example broken though
Sell it for what you think its worth. You may or may not get a taker. Start high with a view to come down a notch.
Abarth kits go for pennies at the moment.Originally Posted by chetchet007
Better off sticking it in the shed and waiting for prices to rise...
E.g.
I sold abarth skirts a year ago for £120
I sold abarth skirts again 2 months ago for £40-50.
id say its rather over the top, can pick up tidy mk2 sportings for less.
but if someone wants it that much then it could go for anything really.
