Cost if you payed some spanner-jockey to do the work: £733
Cost if you did it yourself: £100 in parts if that?
Absolutely no need to break it.
Can you not do some of the work yourself?
Surely the parts off here + doing the labour yourself would make it cost like a third that?

I have no time, and no knowledge to attempt anything myself. He says the fuel "system" as he puts it, that needs replacing is £550 alone. He said he can tell it's been bodged before and he can't do it again, it's dangerous. This guy doesn't muck about he's a friend of the family...
If anyone reckons they could do everything for under £250 in a weekend then be my guest to give it a go!
The most your fuel system would need is a new tank and pump I would imagine, very simple to do.
Why not speak to danmotty or Dean, they are over your way and would do it for a lot less than that!
Punto Gt no more!
source the parts, ie. fuel tank, pump, lines i have a fuel rail you could have with the injectors and ill fit it all in a day for ya for £100
can do the handbrake and electrics too again with the parts supplied.
will leave it with you
