Dear me, the education system has a lot to answer for...
Please don't take this personally, I'm sure you'd have learnt English grammar and punctuation etc. if you'd been taught better, but please think about substituting the following for your advert's description:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, here for sale is my pride and joy, but I can't afford to keep it as I'm moving house.
190+ bhp. I do have a printout of 170.8 from 2006, but I've recently added more stuff, so it's probably about 190+ now.
1.4 Turbo
Piper Ultimate Road cam
Pulstar spark plugs
Magnecore ignition leads
FSE power boost valve
Adjustable bleed valve
Baileys dump valve, adjustable
Chipped and remapped ECU
Front-mounted intercooler
K&N induction kit
Strut brace
New radiator
Turbo Technics Hybrid turbo
Lowered on full G-Max coilovers and shock absorbers
Universal backbox
16" TSW alloys with good tyres
Turbo timer
De-wipered because of smoothed boot panel
Standard GT interior
Stealth shelf for 6x9 speakers
Electric windows, Electric mirrors
Electric sunroof
Spoiler
New air flow meter
Tinted rear windows and lights
Smoothed boot panel, but not in pic.s, will update soon
Has different bumper to the pic.s, but not very different, still a standard Punto one
MOT until July '10, Taxed until July '10. Cheap to tax, as it's a 1.4
Bad points:
Slight rip in driver's seat (doesn't bother me, but will provide snap-on seat cover).
Steering wheel leather worn (again, this has never bothered me).
Chips in bodywork due to age, may need touch up with paint pen.
Turbo whining. I've been told by Turbo Technics that it could just be the pipes that need cleaning, due to dirt or a pipe may be kinked of split, but I don't have the time to check and fix, due to moving home.
That's about it, I've been 100% honest in describing this car and will be sad to see it go.
Offers considered, nothing stupid though.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you could also indicate:
1) it's mileage and whether or not there is supporting evidence (old MOT certificates etc.) for this. Any other documentation available should be mentioned too.
2) The number of previous owners and which, if any, were PSC forum or Club members.
3) It's date of first registration, presence of V5 etc.
4) Width of the wheels (6J, 7J or whatever) plus the specification and type of the tyres (e.g. Toyo Proxes, 195x45x16).
then these would help to clarify the conditions for the sale. Having said all that, I'd be interested in discussing the details, despite being in "hold" mode waiting for another guy to sell his boat before he'll sell me his T-reg. GT3.
Cheers, Tim
