    Nope, that's without a pump. Remember main dealers tend to charge around 100 per hour

    Tried to get the car back tonight but the bloke was just abusive on the phone and told me to get a trailer because its un-drivable now!!!

    even if it had no p/s pump on it it would still be driveable

    I know. He was very abusive on the phone so not sure what he has done.

    No paid nothing yet and i wanted to pay him tonight and take the car but he just went off on one. All because ive questioned the 7 hours to do the job.

    The car is in his garage so cant take it back.

    they are taking the piss, 7 hours labour for a powersteering pump!, as someone mentioned you could remove and refit the entire engine in that time!

    Well got the car back and yes the pump is noisey and it has air in it. Ive had enough now and decided to sell it as it is.

    If only it wasn't Red! Almost as off-putting as Yellow for me. That's not to say that it isn't a nice clean looking car and a bargain at the price you're asking. But...
