i understand cutting the bottom, as the 2nd coil is same size as the first so would sit in same place, but the tops are different sizes? so if i cut it it wouldnt fit?
you need to get some adapters, like cups that go on the top to make them fit- ebay £5.99 i think
so i couldn just cut half a coil off the bottom then? what would happen if i did?
alternatively you can cut approx 8 inches from the middle of the spring and weld it back together in the middle

Proper springs are by far the favourite over cutting the existing one!
Cutting Coil Springs Is Far Too Dangerous And For The Price Of A Set Of Lowering Springs They Are Alot Safer
