Hi,
I need to get hold of the drivers for the network input where you plug a broadband cable into.
Ive just reinstalled windows on a PC, namely a Dell Dimension 4550, and its not recognising any input when the broadband cable is inserted, so I need to get hold of the Dell Drivers for it.
Any ideas?

most probs get them at that link, but if not you'll need the motherboard manufacturer (usually gigabit or similar)
thats all if they havnt installed a seperate network card
it's called an "ethernet" driver. Usually NetXtreme on dell's IIRC

its easy on that site, you just put on your computer details and it comes up exactly wot you need.
Im officially having trouble now.
Its actually a Dell Precision 350, and its the ethernet drivers Im after.
Anyone care to help me because I cant find the bastard driver.

Tom, if you are having problems with the links / searching for your machine / driver, try using the "by service tag" function.
the service tag will be printed on a label near your xp licence key and also flashes up on the bios splash screen.
using this service tag - basically a registration plate - will enable the dell database to determine what hardware your machine was shipped with, thereby what drivers are required.
