really liking these cars at the minute. what engine is in em and whats the insurance like?

engine is a 2.0 turbo, and engine is sr20det, 197 brake as standard!seriously nice car, reliable too! awsome set of wheels this is!

i'd also be asking what correction standards have been used, what transmission losses have been approximated, and what the weather was like on each of them.

not saying that they WERE the same power, because you could be right about one engine being duff, but you cant compare isolated RR graphs in different setups and circumstances.

no you cant compare them but 30 hp is alot of difference unless one has been rigged or the temps are 25+ degrees you wouldn be down that much

SR20DET reliable? No more then any other engine, certainly not a 'reliable' engine like the volvo T5 or a Ford desal Endura. Mate ha one and the block has fell to bits around the crown of the bore...

A guy at the rr was telling us about someone he knows with a T5 took the pipe of the actuator and was running unlimited boost for 6 weeks with no problems, then all of a sudden it went bang, pulled over and it just blew a boost pipe, reconnected it again and away he went everything fine lol. Not saying that it would be able to run like that for rest of its life but can you imagine doing that in a punto, or any other car for that matter lol.

i should be seeing 300 by xmas danny boy, hopefully still on the standard T28. But im extremely happy with what it produced and what im starting with.

Cant remember who asked but they're group 18 insurance.

And the rollers we're extremely accurate, as a guy brought down a brand new diesel jag and asked to put it on sort of unexpected to put the rollers to the test and everyone else's mind as you always get people saying 'rollers are out' with a print off from jag of its power and torque, they put it on the rollers and was 1.5hp out and 0.5lbft. So thats pretty good lol.

As soon as i find my damn phone lead i'll upload the pic of it on the rollers spitting out a nice flame when came off throttle.
