I'd rather have the GP Abarth over the GT. It feels more solid to drive and just as fast.

I'd imagine the 500 Abarth feels a lot more planted still, but I haven't driven one.

Cracking pics there Si. Looks fantastic.

I definitely recommend having a test drive in one. It feels a lot more planted, kind of reminds me of my old Cinq in the way it feels like a go-kart! Love it

And IMO it's 10 times better than a GT.

Nope, just wheels, stripes and the 'campolovo' grey colour.

Hi, Yeah I clocked you when you beeped, nice car Looks cool.

I know, I loved the GT but it was too expensive to run. I'm getting 33/32mpg out the Abarth 500 and I don't potter about The insurance is cheaper than on my old 500 Sport as well. Love it when it backfires as well!!

    Si

I should hope it's quicker in gear than the Type-R, it's turbocharged, and not to mention it's £2k dearer. Slower around a race track however. I test drove the FN2 on friday last week, it was pretty good actually. You can definately feel the extra weight it's lugging though. Slower than it's predecessor. Very trick interior though. Sold on the back of a badge I'm afraid kids, so the very fact the 500 Abarth might be quicker than it in-gear isn't a great achievement anymore, as it's not the benchmark the EP3 was. Megane R26 has taken that mantle.
