But surely if boost is tailing off at the top it's down to the turbo not being able to produce enough boost unless of course the MBC is not capable of bleeding off the air quickly enough perhaps which thinking about it may well be the case.
Because the AVCR monitors the boost level all of the time and adjusts its solenoid accordingly to give the set amount of boost instead of having one set bleed level like an MBC does.

If you could compare the graph of a GT25r on a two GT's, one with with a MBC and one with an apexi there is alot fo difference. Dans held 20psi right thru until 7k with AVCR, Darrens wouldn't old 17 with the dawes device.
