Lol, At £45 for the player and £2.99 a movie, when at the time the cheapest blue ray player was £250 who cares.

The hd dvd for the xbox is a brilliant buy, you can leave games in one and movies in the hd drive, saves swapping them about all the time.

well, its over-due...was due out 3rd quarter 08 dont no what there playing at really, you would think they would put if out before xmas,

should be soon, but cant see why they have left it to after xmas? unless, they are changing it, because when the first drive was invented, blu-ray drives were not updatable, now they are, maybe they have gone back to the drawing board.

Maybe.. Xbox did state they were going to only consentrate on Downloads only. I hope not becuase i'd prefer bluray.

Just thought i'd add this to this thread, i was playing on live last night and my friend said 'is your tele 1080p' i was like what the hell is that? He talked me thru changing the settings to 1080p on my Xbox, i was still on 720 - Oh my Christ what a difference it makes!!!! So impressed with the quality!
