    yeah Captain Reg knows this, hopefully he gets the option to get the car abck so we can fix her up a bit!

    Yea its what im dreading. Insurance said on the phone that it'll probably end up goin through MIB. Just cant do **** til tomorrow.

    TPFT only applies if you have caused the incident ie; if it was Reggies responsibility, which it isnt, and in which case his TPFT would apply. As long as reggie can 100% proove he had nothing to do with the incident, then he WILL be able to claim, whether the pikey was insured or not (obviously, as it was a stolen van)

    The people who deal with this are called the MIB (Motorists/Motoring Insurance Bureao) and they will pay out in the event of an incident like this.

    So hopefully Reggie, all will be ok.

    Yeah the MIB is what I've been reading up on and my insurance (although not properly the claims dept) said that it is very likely that it will go through them and not my insurance. I've got Steve as a witness and around 5-6 coppers in various cars at the junction who should also have my back.

    If its only the nearside that was clipped then hows the steering damaged et all, there are two minor marks on the front wing?

    Bad times, hopefully it can be sorted without costing you any money or loosing your claims!
