    Notebooks.

Anyone know anything about these tiny laptops? Im jus looking for one with a hdmi slot under 15", and roughly not more than £350.

the only one ive found is a 10" dell which seems alrite for £309, im not looking for super fast for games or anything, jus word processing, music, films and internet.

if anyone has any suggestions throw em my way

    cheers.

    Webbooks you mean?

They are great little laptops if web browsing and word processing it all you need. A lot of them come with Linux, which is a bit of a mare if you've never used it before, bot for the more expensive ones, like the Dell, you should get Windows XP.

For £350 you'll not be far off getting a full size 15.4" laptop though, with Vista.

    Easy peasy mate.

Personally I'd run Windows 7 though. Only valid until August I think but it's supposed to run better than XP on those.

Simply boot off the CD and follow the instructions. Remember to format the hard disk.

ud have to format the disc anyway otherwise windows wouldnt boot correctly.

Simply insert the xp disc in and it should come up .... to boot from cd press any key

follow the screen instructions delete the old partitions create a new one and do a full format then let windows do what it wants to do.

    try

wrong, you can install an operating system one one partition and another on a different partition... paragon patition manager is the best imo,its what i used and cant fault it
