I'm sure that would be a no as it's an upgrade offer not a down grade.

Does it matter, when at the end of the day all they are is blank chips at a cost of pennies, with a map uploaded onto them. It is the expertise that was put into the original maps that you are paying for, not the physical chip, so surely any kind of swap + pennies would equal benefits for POTR. Especially as the market for punto parts must have died a spectacular death by now Hans?

Think so yes as you can control the idle control valve speed.

I had a seb4.11 gt3 originally but it kept breaking ring lands on pistons at 9.1 comp ratio.
My new engine idles rough due to low compression and high lift although set up perfectly. Im wanting to up the idle speed from 850 rpm to circa 1100 to smooth out tick over. As there is no mechanical idle speed adjustment like on my uno turbo i want to know can this be done through the eprom? I got a special chip off you about 6 months ago. it was a seb4gt1 map to suit gt3 ecu

if your running high c/r you need it mapped, so stop that happing, ring lands going are due to it running lean and getting 2 hot,

if you get in touch with these people, they can offer you a remote mapppin option to get your map alot closer than a seb, basically tell them your mods and they will send you a chip with a map, fit it and get it rolling roaded send them the data from the rr and they will make adjustments to the map.

Car is running low compression due to the very poor fuel quality here in Ireland. Its prone to pre-ignition in high comp turbo engines. Broke 2 pistons in two engines at 9.1. new engine is GT1 style.Still the car drives nice and im happy enough with the map. 198whp@1.4bar. just idles crap!! Management is the real solution but its not on the cards at the min. Cheers for the advice>
