have you tried shouting at it, and if that fails hittin it with a hammer?
Put CD in drive and all it says on display is "ERROR"
Press the eject button and "EJECT" appears on display but CD won't come out.
What can I do?
Not my car - it's the g/f's mum's...

yeah, if it gets the cd out!?
ok, well failing hitting it with a hammer (some corporate bullshit with voiding warranty or something...)
any ideas?

no! lol, i expect its the wizzy mechanism inside thats given up... without taking the cover off i dont think there is a way.
best thing you can do is take it apart, remove the cd and then try it, fingers crossed it was a one-off, happened to my pioneer a few months back, been fine since
Mine did this before, no idea why. just would not eject, about a week later it was fine.
Although, if the motor is on its way out it could just be weak, is it in at an angle? as if you took it out and angled it down it may work / just about fall out
it's in a civic - it's the EP3 shape, but a 5-door.
It looks to be angled up so will give it try
