ipod software

Hey does anyone here know of an ipod software programme that allows me to take the music off the ipod it's self?

My external hard drive burned out so I lost my files, hoping to get them back off the ipod.

just set it to use as disc in itunes

By plugging it in to the PC you should see the iPod as a storage device in Windows Explorer. You can browse it and copy the files off manually. However the file names will be random characters rather than song titles.

Download a prgramme called idump or ipod agent.

Lets you do pretty much anything with an ipod.
