Mawv its a brand new car im looking at getting buddy
My mate already has one on order in green lol
im not a fan of the new civic it is so plastic local honda have one in and to touch it it feels like thier coffee machine ,the new ones are no good the older stuff is more raw like the ek9 and the dc2 jsut have to make the engine work rather than having lazy power .i did keep up with a ctr in my gt up to 120 tho once but number 3 exhaust lobe did go round after the ctr will still be going strong .
i think the new clio would be the one id go for ,good handling and reliable .
nice to see you still have the gt chris and still keeping those monzas clean you must be the only peep on here now with those on a yello gt .
I have to agree with coog. If its brand new your going for. My choice would be clio 197 cup, in white
i wouldnt touch brand new......not without hefty discounting given that showrooms have got tumbleweed blowing through em up and down the country right now.
or how about pre-registered with a few miles on the clock youll save loads.
personally i would rule out evos and wrx sti's etc as the insurance premiums on these are just stratospheric and are out of all proportion to value of the car and the mileage most of us do. plus wheres the fun in something that can pee on most cars? when would actually use all the peformance.
if money aint an issue then go for it but remember too youll be seeing 5mpg caning these rally reps and the road tax is also about 400.00 a year i think.
the astra vxr at about 12k sounds like a fair deal and you should get 25-35mpg.
you need top factor all the costs of ownership before running out and buying a 300bhp tuned focus ST etc....
