Nasty virus!!!

Yesterday (when i came back from the rugby) the wife said our pc has a virus
I dont know much about these pop-up things but we kept on getting one relating to Antivirus 2009.. Proceed with purchase!!!! The bloody thing would not even let us open our skybot or agv? Even tried spyhunter and could not open that...
OK not sure what i am trying to say here apart from for us lot who don't know much about pc's watch out
I managed to do a restore to FRIDAY last and all seems ok for now..

Had the same problem recently, had to reboot as well. Typical because hadn't done a recent backup. What antivirus 2009 is yours, norton?

also got a virus and tbh i think it may have come from here? my computer wont even boot up at all, using my little bro's at the minute.

Download malwarebytes anti-malware, update it and then run the program that will remove it, sorted this on my uncles computer.

yeah the malware program is quite good, personally been using avg for about 5 years and has never failed to detect once. Its free, doesnt slow your computer down and works great!

try that, dean do you have a laptop or desktop?
and do u know how to take apart pcs etc???

got it aswel went on windows site they said its a fake , its so you click it and they subscribe u to contracts ext if u go on windows ull see

Im running (have been for years) agv free and it did not stop this nasty thing coming in..I will give you link ago mate..CHEERS;;;
