    they are interchangable im running a gt1 bottom with a gt3 with no problems and others are running the other way round i.e gt3 bottom with a gt1 top again with no problems

    i was just saying as there is almost no difference the compression is changed by the head rather than the bottom end the only difference i have noticed is the marking on the top of the pistons is different

    gt1 pistons are shorter, by around 1mm. if you can source a gt1 go with that over a gt3.
