Awesome, my mates got a project bug, he's dropping an engine into it from a subaru or something I can't exactly remember, but his insurance will still stay low, and he is going to spray it ford electric orange.
Wacky.
I don't know mate? They sometimes have VTEC on the cam cover.. all modern Honda's (even Jazz's) are sold as VTEC's, but there is only the Civic that has the high lift cam.
You'd know if it was a screamer because it'd rev to 8000rpm+, every model with a high lift cam has done this... and then there's the fact you'd accelerate at a rate you've never experienced ever before
If you have any car care related questions, ask me in the Cleaning/Detailing section.
If you look at the cam cover, it'll more than likely have VTEC written on it.
PS - I misread the first time, I didn't see the 'auto' part.. it definately isn't a VTEC. The nearest thing to an auto is the tiptronic in the 2.2 (H22) Prelude. Those are v.cheap now, and a fast/reliable car!!
