    trolley jack jacking points

i have done a search but didnt really find an answer. where is the best place to use a trolley jack on the front and rear? and where yould be a good place to put the axel stands? i heard that you shouldnt use a trolley jack on the sills on the side where the jacking point is marked...so confused.

Same here, jacking points are made for jacking up! if your car isn't too low you could also use the bottom of the hub.

might be true as they have a little groove in them which the little jack in the boot sort of clips around, mine have bent a little bit under the weight of the car
but still its only a little bit of metal

doesn't make any difference as to whether they're slightly bent or straight to me

    as above,

i used to use the round bits of metal just behind the jacking point with my trolley jack, until i was told it was actually a strapping point and i shouldnt use it.

for axle stands i use the anti roll bar where the bushes are bolted on, has a nice curve for the stand to sit around nicely.
